27 Dresses - A single woman is the bridesmaid 27 times ... not the same but similar to Julia Roberts and run away Bride where good looking woman can never find the right man. We all know what happens in the end. Rating / Review: 2 out of 5.
Run Fat Boy Run - A guy leaves his fiance on their wedding day and 10 years laters he tries to win her back by getting into shape to run a marathon. Surprisingly very funny. Not just the title which got me walking into the theater but the story line, characters, and feel. Rating / Review: 3.75 out 0f 5.
Forgetting Sarah Marshal - The Sports Guy's Ewing Theory ... you get dumped ... get better ... end up with a hotter girl ... Through out ex wants him back, writes his dream musical, and gets to stay in a Hawaii 5 star hotel. Rating / Review: 3.9 out of 5.

Definitely, Maybe - Single Dad tells story of how he met his daughter's mom by telling her about the women in his life. Each woman he gives a different name so his daughter can not only piece together the relationships but understand how love moves through life. Rating / Review: I am a sucker for romantic comedies so most always work for me but this did more than work, I enjoyed the trying to put everything together as well. 3.75 out 5.
Drill Bit Taylor- This is not "My Body Guard" ... tried to be funny ... tried ... but wasn't ... Rating / Review: 1.5 out of 5.
21 - True story about smart college kids who do what I try to do everytime I'm in Reno or Vegas but can't get past the third hand! Surprisingly entertaining and engaging. Rating / Review: 3.5 out of 5.
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay - Hopefully this will be one of those movies like their first tag team move in White Castle where you don't get it, don't like it, and don't understand why you saw it but after a couple of years and random piece meal viewings on TBS or TNT or USA you grow to like it ... so may have to review this movie again at a later, much later date ... Rating / Review: 1.75 out of 5 ... .75 for potential ...

Iron Man - don't understand all the pub ... yes I know I am more of a romantic comedy guy but certain movies call to be seen at the theater than at home or hotel room ... saw it and it was okay ... Review / Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
Maid of Honor - Yes I saw it ... almost had to because of Grey's Anatomy and it is a romantic comedy ... best part is was not only can Patrick Dempsey mow a lawn and perform cutting edge brain surgery but he also invented the coffe coozy ... the cardboard coffee holder you get at Starbucks! Review / Rating: 3 out of 5.
What Happens in Vegas - We all know it stays in Vegas ... another movie that tried but just couldn't get there. Sidenote: Not sure why everyone is all about Cameron Diaz. She has a great body but everything else, ie. face is just ... Probably would have enjoyed the movie more if they had Alyssa Milano or Jennifer Love Hewitt playing the lead role ... or any role. Review / Rating: 2.75 out of 5.
Sex in the City - Will not even rate this ... not because it wasn't good because it was but because the HBO show was a classic ... I for one can say I enjoyed it, learned a lot from it, and used it a many a nights at the bar ... the HBO classic is just that ...
Don't Mess with the Zohan - By paying to watch it or rent it .... Review / Rating: 1 out of 5.
Hancock - The hoop la was at least watchable and yes entertaining. Another Will Smith positive showing. Review / Rating: 3 out of 5.
Step Brothers - Watch it, Rent it, Buy it ... this is a classic and you don't need your Chubaka thinking mask to know it. Review / Rating: 4 out of 5 ... could even be 4.5.

Ping Pong Playa - Not your main stream movie but the story was pretty enteraining. Young asian guy wants to be an NBA super star ... he has the "look", the slang, but misses the game ... but what he does have is ankle breaking ping pong skilz! Review / Rating: 3.75 out of 5 ... story held the movie up.
The Women - Not embarassed to say I saw it and yes there was not one man in the movie or the movie theater when I saw. Definitely a woman movie not chick flick but woman movie. Review / Rating: 2.75 out of 5.
My Best Friend's Girl - Thank God for kate Hudson or this movie would have been a complete waist.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno - could eaisly be one of the top 5 movies of the year ...

Slum Dog Millionaire - BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR. You will feel emotion and get caught up not only in the journey but the life of the characters ... could also be one of the best movies over the last couple of years... A MUST SEE ... Review / Rating: 5 out of 5.

Gran Terrino - If Slum Dog wasn't on tap this year, I would say Eastwood and Terrino would be the best movie. Also a must see but just a step lower than Slum Dog ... but a must see. Greeat story and acting. Review / Rating: 4.75 out of 5.
Seven Pounds - Will Smith always holds his own ... you can tell where the movie was going but it was still entertaining and engaging. Review / Rating: Solid 3.75 out of 5.
